The Past Within is a cooperative graphic adventure halfway between 2D and 3D that offers a very interesting experience. To start, we must team up with a friend and travel to the future or the past to solve puzzles as a team through real-time communication.

The first thing to know before you start playing is that we will not be able to enjoy this game alone, as we will have to solve the mysteries surrounding Albert Vanderboom together with a friend. One must travel to the future and the other to the past. One of the game's main advantages is that it is a multiplatform game, so everyone can play on a different device (PC, Mac, iOS, Android, or Nintendo Switch).

The adventure consists of two chapters with an approximate duration of two hours. However, developers recommend playing from both perspectives (past and future) to enjoy the full experience. What's more, once the game is over, we will have the option to start over with different solutions for all the puzzles.
